R. Trent Hickman is a Partner at Veronis Suhler Stevenson, a private equity and mezzanine capital investment firm focused on the information, education, media, communications and business services industries in North American and Europe. He joined VSS in 1999 and is responsible for developing and structuring investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, arranging debt financing for portfolio investments and serving as a director on the boards of several portfolio companies. Prior to VSS and graduate school, he was an investment banker with a focus on the media and entertainment industries. Mr. Hickman earned an AB in History and French Literature from Duke University and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He lives with his wife and daughter in Tribeca.
