Rebekah was born in Seoul, South Korea but moved to the United States as an infant and was raised in upstate New York. She began her career as an educator in 2003 while working as a New York city Teach for America corps member. In addition to the Bronx, she has taught in Harlem and London, England in public, charter and private schools ranging from grades 3 to 5. Rebekah received her undergraduate degree in the history of art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s of teaching degree from Pace University. She is a frequent traveler and hopes to one day visit all 7 continents. In the meantime, Rebekah enjoys working with all the different types of learners at Bronx Arts.
