The NYC Charter Artists Collective blog was initiated by Ann Ledo-Lane of Bronx Charter School for the Arts as a resource for Artists working in NYC Charter Schools. Beginning with their Spring Conference in 2011 titled ” Stretch and Explore”, Bronx Arts has been leading professional development workshops for charter school arts specialists with the desire of creating a professional learning community that inspires and supports high quality arts education. This blog exists to serve as their forum for sharing news, lessons and resources in the charter school arts community.
