Travel time from mid-town Manhattan: approximately 40 minutes.
The closest subway to Bronx Arts is the #6 to Hunts Point Avenue. When you exit the station you will be at a large intersection of Southern Boulevard and Hunts Point Avenue. Orient yourself so that you are facing the elevated Bruckner Expressway. Walk toward it on Hunts Point Avenue and pass beneath it, crossing Bruckner Boulevard. Make the first possible left on Garrison Avenue. Pass Irvine Street on the right, then Faile, then Bryant. Make a left on Longfellow Avenue. Bronx Arts is the brightly colored striped building on the right side of the street.
You can also get to Bronx Arts on the #2 or #5 trains to Simpson Street. When you exit the station, you will be at Simpson and Westchester. Walk northeast along Westchester for one block and make a right on Southern Boulevard. Continue till you arrive at a big intersection with Hunts Point Avenue, then follow directions from the #6 train station, above.

From Manhattan:
Take the Cross Bronx Expressway (95) north (east) to the Sheridan Expressway exit. Exit the Sheridan at Westchester Avenue. Cross Westchester and continue straight along the access road. Bear left and get into the far left lane at the first opportunity. Pass through the large intersection with Hunts Point Avenue, make a left onto Baretto Street, and an immediate left on Garrison. Pass Manida Street, continue past Hunts Point Avenue, Faile Street, and Bryant Avenue Make a left on Longfellow Avenue. Bronx Arts is the brightly colored striped building on the right side of the street.
OR
Take the FDR drive north or local streets to the Willis Avenue Bridge. Once on the bridge, bear right to exit onto Bruckner Boulevard north. (NOT Bruckner Expressway). Follow signs for the Hunts Point Market and take the left hand fork at the Golden Lady but then immediately bear right and get in the right-hand access road (DO NOT take the on ramp to the expressway). Follow Bruckner Boulevard for more than a mile and pass through the large intersection with Hunts Point Avenue. You will immediately pass a right-hand on ramp to the elevated highway. Make the next possible right on Faile Street and an immediate left on Garrison Avenue. Pass Bryant Avenue and make the next possible left on Longfellow Avenue. Bronx Arts is the brightly colored striped building on the right side of the street.
