We need your help! Funding from NY State covers only 80% of the school's operating and capital expenses- this does not cover the cost of the innovative programming that truly sets Bronx Arts apart from other public schools. We rely on private funding to support essential components of Bronx Arts including arts programming, inclusion, and support services for students "at risk," and costs related to the occupancy and further development of our wonderful facility.
For example:
* A donation of $3,000 pays for one class’s participation in our “artist in residence” program.
* A donation of $1,000 provides art supplies for an entire class for the year.
* A donation of $500 covers the yearly cost of assessment for one class, including on-line analysis tools for teachers and individualized assessments for struggling learners.
* A donation of $250 supplements an existing classroom library with an additional 30 books to be used by students during independent reading.
* A donation of $150 enables the purchase of a quality musical instrument (and repairs!) for use in our band program.
* A donation of $50 covers the cost of arts materials and supplies for one family arts workshop.
Bronx Charter School for the Arts is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

At Bronx Arts, we put every contribution to immediate and meaningful use. We also strive to find ways to enable donors to support the aspects of our program that they find most compelling.
