On June 6 and 7, all 300 Bronx Arts students will perform in our school-wide production of Beauty and the Beast, Jr. Utilizing the collaborative efforts and energy of our entire school community, this production will showcase the diverse talents of our students on a professional stage. To prepare for the performance, our students are engaged in not only the rehearsal and performance aspects of the production, but also the behind-the-scenes work such as the design and construction of sets, costumes, and props.
WHERE: NYC professional theater, to be determined. Past performances have been offered at Hunter College’s Kaye Playhouse, The Paradise Theater, Lehman College, and Hostos College.
WHEN: June 6 and 7, 2012 – 7:00pm
This musical is a huge undertaking for our school, and additional funding is needed to ensure that the performance is a resounding success!
